ERA’s REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) Program leverages carbon finance to conserve threatened forests and grasslands in Brazil by offering landholders annual payments to maintain native vegetation instead of converting to agriculture.

ERA’s Regenerative Agriculture Program supports smallholder farmers to plant trees through mixed species reforestation, silvopastoril restoration or agroforestry restoration. ERA designs, finances, and coordinates the project, providing seedlings, technical assistance and supporting commercialization.

ERA offers verified carbon credits (VCUs) from nature-based solutions such as conserving threatened, surplus forests/grasslands, and regenerating degraded lands with agroforestry systems.
Organic Spices and Nuts
ERA connects smallholders that regenerate soil and offers bulk, organic and fair-trade products such as baru nuts turmeric, banana, and mangaba among others, to food companies.
